In January 29, 2011 happened in Xangri-lá/Brazil the “MECA Festival”, probably one of the best festival ever realized in Brazil, with spectacular presentations of Rosie an me, Copacabana Club, Two Doors Cinema Club and Vampire Weekend. There isn’t much space for the good Indie music in Brazil, so even with the world famous presence of Vampire Weekend, the public in festival was less than 3000 people. A small audience for such event but noisy, grip and glad for the first time in Brazil for Two Doors Cinema Club and Vampire Weekend.
Indie Rock, Indie folk, Baroque pop, Synthpop, New wave, Indie pop, Surf rock, Electropop, Post-punk revival, Alternative rock, Britpop, Rock and Roll.
